In 1985, Dr Prem Reddy, MD, FACC, FCCP, founded Desert Valley Medical Group. Its main office located in Victorville and group offers satellite locations in Adelanto, Hesperia,and Victorville. Prem Reddy founded Prime Healthcare Services, Inc. which operates eight acute care hospitals, one among them is Desert Valley Hospital. The Desert Valley Group consists of over 40 exclusive board-certified primary care and specialty physicians, pharmacy and lab services, urgent care/walk-in clinic, on-site imaging, health education, and an 83-bed acute care hospital. The DVMG Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Department operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The facility is closed on weekends and major holidays. The Desert Valley Medical Group is the largest multi-specialty medical group, serving the High Desert communities for two decades.
The clinical services at Desert Valley Medical Group (DVMG) offers Outpatient Rehabilitation Services which includes Outpatient Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. The outpatient department operates just a few blocks from Desert Valley Hospital. The department consists of a fully equipped gym, hand therapy room, wound care room, hydrotherapy room and several semi-private treatment rooms. The desert valley medical department consists state-of-the-art computerized Functional Capacity Evaluation machine that is used to evaluate functional performance as part of pre-employment procedures.
